Windy Day - Palette Knife Painting, 8 x 10 inches, oil on panel

I just loved the colors in the water and the waves. This was done using a palette knife instead of brushes. I find, when doing an alla prima sketch like this that I get interesting texture and cleaner colors than I would using brushes - and the bonus is not needing to clean brushes at the end of the day!
