This is one of the few paintings I did in acrylic before switching to oils. I think I did less acrylic paintings than you could count on your fingers. I found the medium somewhat frustrating, with the main problem being the value shift between wet and dry paint. The fast drying time is both good and bad, depending on what you want to do - it's great for glazing in transparent layers, but not so good for blending and mixing on the support.
